Louis Vuitton Sprouse Collection

Louis Vuitton recently launched their latest Stephen Sprouse collection in New York. In an effort to out-do the regular fashion launch experience, they opted for a cocktail party and art exhibition, followed by a mini concert by Debra Harry. My invite must've got lost in the mail, but from the pics I've seen, it looks like a great party. I love the way they celebrated Sprouse's punk couture aesthetic with neon colours, graffiti and huge TV screens.
Sprouse, who was part of Andy Warhol's crew, became famous in the 1980s for pioneering the uptown pop punk look – a random and edgy mix of elements including day-glo colours, high-tech fabrics, sequins, velcro, sophisticated tailoring and hand painted silks. He passed away in 2004.
